Audio/Visual Equipment for the Classroom

Classrooms are fully equipped with presentation technology, including an LCD projector and networked PC (all university classrooms are wired for Internet and network access). The Field Support staff (ex. 2-7865) can provide individual training to teach you to operate the classroom equipment.

This video provides a helpful overview of classroom technology:

Having Problems Using the Equipment During Class?

If you experience problems with the technology during your class, call the Technology Support Center (TCC) emergency line at Ext. 2-5900 and ask to have a Field Support technician dispatched to your classroom.

Field Support office hours:

- Loop Campus
8 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Friday
8 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday
Closed Sunday

- Lincoln Park Campus
8 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Thursday
8 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday & Saturday
Closed Sunday

To order audio/visual or other equipment, complete the classroom technologies equipment order form.

Usage Notes:
Faculty and staff are encouraged to order equipment with ample advance notice.

Orders for Loop and Lincoln Park classroom equipment must be placed by 4 p.m. on the preceding business day.

Due to the popularity of some items, Field Support may be unable to fill last-minute requests for equipment.
