Teaching Difficult Concepts: Cell Division
Every course or field of study has basic core concepts students have difficulty grasping. Using the biological concept of cell division as a sample “difficult concept,” Dr. Stan Cohn demonstrates how casting students as parts of a cell and reenacting cell division, has successfully improved his students understanding.
