Gather Course Materials

Identifying and obtaining materials for a course begins with clarifying our course learning goals and objectives. Because there are so many materials that we could potentially choose (e.g., books, articles, newspapers, movies, songs, Podcasts, etc.), it is helpful to be clear about the specific focus of the course and what materials support that focus. Often, clarifying our goals also helps us to identify what falls outside of a particular course’s. Keeping this in mind is especially important given the time constraints of of the quarter system.
